7. Problems with Proverbs

Proverbs 4 18-19

The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.
But the way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know what makes them stumble.

This passage in Proverbs was meant to be read together. It was not meant to be a prophetic excuse when prophecies fail. It is just stating that your life revolves around the decisions you make.  If you walk in righteousness, things generally go easier for you. Compared to the wicked, who are constantly having to reinvent their lies and decepetions when they trip and fall over them. It was not meant to be a prophetic excuse when prophecies fail. Read Proverbs to get the full context of the the passage...

If that was the case though, the prophecies would still never fail. They would be building on the previous infalliable prophecy of the Holy Spirit, gaining new knowledge built on the consistancy of the previously spoken message

IT WOULD NEVER NEED CORRECTED OR RETRACTED.

Proverbs 8 is about wisdom ( not Jesus ) as God's helper. Read Proverbs!!

8. Trinity:

Jehovah’s Witnesses compare Jesus  as quoted in Isaiah 9:6. as a “mighty one” when the word EL (God) is used.
Gen 17:1 uses the same word “EL” for God as in Isaiah 9:6 it was not translated here as “mighty one”
When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to him and said, "I am God Almighty ; walk before me and be blameless. "

or in Gen 28:3 "May God Almighty bless you and make you fruitful and multiply you, that you may become a company of peoples."

They also compare Jesus and Satan as equals in comparison in reference to the word "god"
.

2 Corinthians 6 :13-15
As a fair exchange--I speak as to my children--open wide your hearts also.
Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?
Col. 2:9, "For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form,"

Could all “the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form” ( Col 2:) in Satan?
How can they compare the two after reading 2 Corinthians 6 :13-15 ?
Jehovah’s Witnesses compare Jesus “God Status” to Satans God of this world status”
How  can they set Satan and Jesus’s god status as equals?

Phil. 2:5-8, "Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus,  who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped,  but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men.  And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross."

Gal. 4:4-5,
"But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, in order that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons."
